Oh No He Didn't! Arty Farty? The Chauffeur? Well, I mean it was inspired by Helmut Newton, which seriously explains the whole NSFW thing. And BTW, if all NSFW was presented in the form of Duran Duran music videos, I would be so much more accepting of NSFW. You have discovered my weakness.

I've always loved this song, and the video. Actually, I love the whole Rio album. There's a few albums I've owned where I've basically worn them out playing them so much, and this is definitely one of them.
I think you may have caused some of the Opponauts to Google "Duran Duran + titties".

It's an amazing video. And so well shot. I'm one of those people who fell in love with Duran Duran around the time or Rio / Seven And The Ragged Tiger and just never ever let go (except for Liberty, can we just pretend that Liberty never happened? Cool? Cool).
I can't help it if a well shot video introduces some of these folks to the fine musical selections of Duran Duran while simultaneously demonstrating that even back in the early 80s we had 'offensive' music videos.

My older sister was really into them in the early 80's. This video was on a VHS tape she had of all their videos; I can't remember if they ever showed it on MTV, I don't remember seeing it. Later, she branched off in the goth/alternative direction. I got most of my musical tastes from her.

That's awesome. And no, that I recall I never saw the video on TV, even in censored form. But Duran Duran (the VHS video, not their first album, or the Wedding Album), was amazing... and the video was on there.

I wore down my copy of Rio until it sounded like mush... Had to buy the CD. I still keep my vinyl copy for the jacket art...
